About Pecka

The town is located in the Hradec Králové region, Jičín district, just outside the tourist the most interesting places in the Czech republic – protected landscape area of the Bohemian Paradise and Giant Mountains National Park.

Stone still retains one of the picturesque village. Series of surviving cultural monuments are a testament to the rich history of the village. The most important of them is the St. Bartholomew castle.

Due to its location in the rugged landscape is known as the Pearl of the Krkonoše mountains. The main advantages of the village include the unique modified Renaissance Castle. From the Castle, the prospect is in full glory to see the Central massif of the Krkonose mountains with Mountain and Black Mountain, West of the town of Nová Paka loom Kumburk and Bradlec hills with ruins of medieval castles.

Stone is an ideal place for recreation and relaxation. The romantic surroundings, with a gentle hilly and heavily terrain offers a suitable environment for year-round pleasant walking and hiking trips.
